Accident prevention regulations (UVV)
The accident prevention regulations (UVV) represent the binding obligations regarding health and safety at work for each company and each insured person.
Acrylic
is a generic term for chemical substances, which are characterised by the acrylic group (CH2=CH–COR) (e.g. acrylic acid or acrylic-acid ester) or polymers of these substances.
Adhesive bond
Gluing which can be reopened after closure without damaging the envelope.
ATEX
The term ATEX stands for the French abbreviation of "Atmosphère explosible" and is used as a synonym for the two European Community Directives concerning explosion protection, namely the ATEX Product Directive 94/9/EC and the ATEX Worker Protection Directive 1999/92/EC.
