Target group:
All persons who - as part of their job - work in areas where there is a danger of falling and who use personal protective equipment against falls from a height
All persons who are responsible for the procurement and choice of suitable personal protective equipment against falls from a height (PSAgA).
Content:
Checking PPE against falls from a height (PSAgA) using numerous samples (manipulated and original examples from practical situations):
- Full body harnesses
- Lanyards
- Tear-web energy absorbers
- Friction energy absorbers
- Guided type fall arresters including a flexible anchor line
Objectives:
The objective is for all participants to be able to independent check their PPE against falls from a height (PSAgA) for defects, to assess whether their equipment fulfils the requirements for safe working conditions.
