For processing, the coils must be supplied to the processing system in an upright position. Tipping coils repeatedly result in severe work accidents. The protection of the manufactured sheet coils or those intended for further processing becomes more and more important. Inadequate storage of sensitive thin sheet coils with high individual weight can result in pressure points that in turn can result in problems during the later shaping process

Secutex-Coilprotect is a coil storage system that makes a fast and safe storage of slit strips possible. The enormously robust basic steel profile construction includes the secutex impact protection bed on the support surfaces. The extremely cut and wear resistant secutex coating protects the storage goods effectively against loading related pressure points. The secutex impact protection bed is oil and lubricant resistant and is praised by its user for its long service life. The coils can be pre-customised quickly, flexibly and independent of the diameter and the width due to the plug direction of the bore grid for the safety bars that point to the inside.

The design is assessed statically as a load hoisting device and the manufacturing department has the welding certification. Each secutex-COILPROTECT includes a well readable and reflecting sticker with important operating and safety information.
