A lashing strap is a woven strap band made from artificial fibres and it includes a ratchet. A differentiation is made between two-part and one-part lashing straps. The one-part lashing strap consists of a long strap band and a ratchet as the tensioning element. Two-part lashing straps consist of a fixed end (FE) with a short strap band, a connection element (VE) and a tensioning element (SE) as well as a loose end (LE) with a long strap band and a VE.
