Evers anti-skid mat Grip

Your benefits: High strength due to vulcanised solid rubber material, high safety through optimal friction coefficient, easy handling due to low weight, repeat use, universal, ideal for slab and paper roll transport

Strong and robust

SpanSet Grip is a robust high-density anti-skid mat made from solid rubber.. In tests, SpanSet Grip showed outstanding results for tensile strength and indentation characteristics as compared to conventional granulate rubber mats. Tests by FLog under consideration of the specified test parameters resulted in tensile strengths of up to 5.0 N/mm2 for the 2 mm variant - this is a 10 times higher value of a comparable 8 mm granulate mat. The indentation characteristics were tested in accordance with the draft of VDI 2700 sheet 15. No permanent indentation was found after 24 hours of surface pressing. In addition, the anti-skid mat does not show any ball bearing effect, a characteristic that can be observed for granulate mats. This refers to flaked off material that develops in form of small balls between load and mat and that results in a decline of the friction coefficient.

Highly resistant

The anti-skid mat SpanSet Grip provides an outstanding resistance also against operating materials such as diesel or hydraulics oil. In contrast to anti-skid mats with a high hollow space part, fluids will not be absorbed and "soapiness" through an increase in material density does not develop under high surface pressure - "soapiness" reduces the friction coefficient significantly. The bending load is also outstanding. "Crack could not be identified at the bending load test" said the FLog test report. Even frozen fluids could not affect SpanSet Grip. Ice will easily be shaken off, because it can only stick to the surface.

Cost effective through multi-use

SpanSet Grip can be re-used without problems, due to its closed, highly dense surface and the robust design. The friction coefficient stays stable even after multiple use. SpanSet Grip can be easily cleaned in case it should be soiled at times. Therefore nothing can prevent the multi-use of SpanSet Grip.

Less for more

With a material thickness of 2 mm, SpanSet Grip is significantly thinner than the previous version with 8 mm. It therefore provides a significantly better handling of roll products and can be stowed easily. An additional, stringer version with a material thickness of 9.5 mm is available for the heavy load area, especially for machine transports, if a larger distance surface is required as the surface interruption between individual anti-skid mats.

Small efforts for the load safeguards

SpanSet Grip simplifies the load safeguarding and provides security with an optimal skip resistance even for material pairs with smooth surfaces, e.g. metal on metal. The user knows that he made the right choice for the transport safety and he can provide evidence for the correct load safeguard

Thin but good

Even the 2 mm mat provides a significantly increased skid stability if compared to other anti-skid mats. It is therefore the ideal supplement for lashings
SpanSet Grip is in accordance with the new VDI 2700 sheet 15 for skid resistant materials.
