On some packing pieces (e.g. pipe bundles with small diameters) it is not possible to use a device with a tool foot of approx. 10 cm long. Round-strapping devices for steel bands were developed especially for this application. With the help of the sleeve, you form a loop around the packing piece. The tensioning device is then placed on the outside and draws the loop together like a lasso with the lever movement. With the separate sealing pliers, the sleeve just has to be kerfed; the steel band is cut off with the tensioning device.
