Die VIP multi-shortening claw permits a shortening of chain strands without reducing the carrying capacity. It is captively integrated into the chain strand. It can be installed at any point of the chain strand or it can be moved on the chain. The robust, spring supported safety pin prevents an automatic opening of the attached chains in a loaded as well as unloaded condition.
