RUD ICE Shortening Coupler

The ICE-SC shortening coupler is the successful result of optimization of coupling systems. For original RUD-ICE master links with 40° inclined engineered flats (RUD identification feature) for easier feeding in of the coupling elements.

  • Only one lightweight component with simultaneous chain connection and captive shortening options - only one mounting bolt with tensioning sleeve
  • Only short inspection times for the load-bearing components
  • Perfect pocket design supports the shortened link - no reduction in working load limit under static and dynamic loads
  • Additional rubber locking device which prevents the shortened chain from loosening

On coupling, ensure correct assignment of number of legs, working load limit and nominal size.
