Kraftliner

Kraftliner is a type of paper.

It consists of bleached or unbleached kraft pulp (sulphate pulp) with a particularly high fraction of long fibres. Kraftliner is used as the outer layer (facing) of corrugated board or solid fibreboard. It has a high strength and is resistant to moisture.

One special use of kraftliner is as slip sheets. Slip sheets are used for pallet-free transport of goods. Slip sheets for particularly high carrying and pull forces are usually made from multi-ply glued kraftliner.

According to the customs definition, kraftliner must have a minimum grammage of 120 g/m²; however, it is offered with grammages between 115 g/m² and 430 g/m². They contain a high proportion of recycled fibre pulp (max. 20%).
