Hot-melt

"Hot-melt" also called thermosetting adhesives, hot-setting adhesive, hot adhesive or hot glue, are solvent-free and at room temperature are more or less solid products, which can be applied to the adhesive surface in a hot state, and form the bonding on cooling.
This group of adhesives is based on different chemical raw materials.
An increase in temperature and melting achieves adhesion, which results in a reduction in viscosity.
The low viscosity enables adequate wetting of the substrate. Cohesion is achieved by the cooling of the molten adhesive.
Depending on the application, the materials are chosen for their adhesive properties on substrates, the use temperature, thermal stability, chemical resistance and hardness.
