Six new trainees at Evers

Qualified new recruits are the most important investment in the future.
Motivated young people have a good opportunity at Evers GmbH in Buschhausen. Six new trainees had their first day at work on 01 September, 2008.
Two trainees are benefiting from three years' vocational training as wholesale and export managers. Four trainees with higher-level school qualifications will take their Chamber of Commerce and Industry exam as wholesale and export managers after two years, due to their shorter training period. Of these, three student trainees are taking a business administration course to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at the "Fachhochschule für Oekonomie & Management" (FOM) as part of and in parallel with their vocational training.
Good vocational training is a topic very close to the heart of Evers' management. There are two main reasons in favour of the dual training. One is the strong practical part of the course. Close interaction of business practice and science during the academic course creates an ideal basis for the demanding tasks of the graduates in their working lives. The other reason is called motivation. Anyone who can show that they can successfully complete their seven semesters of academic study while working at the same time has proven that they are single-minded and high-achievers.
The quality of the in-house training at Evers is also very high. The trainees "pass through" the following departments: order processing, sales, dispatch and accounting. Following the motto "learning by doing", they participate in work processes and business transactions or complete them on their own. The trainees are intensively familiarized with the extensive Evers GmbH product range in regular in-house training courses. The trainees acquire other skills and knowledge at external seminars.
Evers is currently training 13 young people in total. Of these, six student trainees will be taking their final examinations as wholesale and export managers before the Chamber of Commerce & Industry in the winter 2008/2009. To date, Evers has offered all trainees an employment contract.
