Oxea & Evers support Alsbachtal centre for the disabled

1,000 Euro was given to Josef Wörmann, manager of the Alsbachtal centre for the disabled, on 17 December 2008 by Heinz Beckemeier, production manager of the LDPE operation of Oxea and the managing directors of Evers GmbH, Johannes Trum and Christoph Bergforth.

Evers has been supplying load restraint products to Oxea Werk Ruhrchemie for many years and teaches the corresponding know-how in relevant seminars. The need to ensure proper load restraint is repeatedly underestimated by those concerned as the result of an incorrectly understood urge to save costs.

Heinz Beckemeier and Christoph Bergforth decided to take specific measures for improved load restraint. Oxea campaigned for stricter truck controls. Evers GmbH provided technical advice regarding load restraint and sold the respective suitable load securing equipment. Yet that was not enough. The two men wanted to double the good done by this project: 5 Euro from the receipts for each anti-slip mat sold were to be donated to Alsbachtal centre for the disabled in Oberhausen. A useful idea at the right time!

Financial support and active commitment to Alsbachtal centre for the disabled is nothing new for Evers. In June 2006, Evers's boss Johannes Trum initiated the "Help to Help!" sponsorship campaign for Alsbachtal centre for the disabled.
