"Qualified vocational training and continued professional development are investments in the future. We want to offer young people future career prospects. In this way we ensure the competitiveness and therefore the continued success of Evers GmbH in the future too. Employee André Schmitz found we were willing to listen as he expressed the wish to qualify in the IT sector as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). Since January 2008, André Schmitz has been attending two taught course units per week. Evers gives him leave from work to attend the course. The cost of the further training is paid for by Oberhausen's job centre, the "Agentur für Arbeit". The continued professional development proved its worth straight away after the first taught course units; because André Schmitz was immediately able to use the knowledge he had acquired in his daily work. Through the MCSE certification, André Schmitz will be able to master all problems which arise during everyday work and therefore help to secure his job"
